Hot Mylky Tonics

Everyone seems to be feeling a little under the weather and a little blue right? So here’s the recipes for 2 of our favourite winter hot mylky tonics that you can make in the comfort of your own home and give you a nice warm hug on the inside..


Medicinal Mushrooms have been used across Asia for thousands of years. They are known mostly for their powerful immune boosting and anti-oxidant properties and can be used to heal a number of ailments and increase general wellbeing.


1 cup almond or coconut milk

1 teapsoon chaga or reishi mushroom (or both)

1 teaspoon raw cacao

1 teaspoon coconut oil

Heat your milk in a pan and put your mushroom and cacao powder in a mug with enough hot water to make a liquid paste. Then pour your hot milk into the cup and mix together well. Add raw honey, maple or alternative sugar for taste if needed. Enjoy…

1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon coconut oil

Combine all ingredients together and heat in a pan until warm. Pour into a cup and add cinnamon, raw honey or maple for taste if needed. Sit back, relax and enjoy your sunshine in a cup… | transform from within
